Reflecting On 2021 and All That Is To Come In The New Year


As 2021 comes to a close we wanted to take a moment to reflect on the year. While this year had its challenges as COVID-19 continues to persist throughout our communities, the year also had its upsides. Some of these upsides included the availability of multiple COVID-19 vaccines across the country which allowed many in various job sectors to return to a more normalized business model and on a personal note allowed families to see one another again. As we start 2022 we will bring these upsides with us to help make 2022 an even better year.

 

Some SAKS Health highlights from 2021 include the following…

Growth

At SAKS Health we are always focused on trying to grow and expand our offerings, people, and client partnerships. This year was no different!

  • Selected as the only agency out of four finalists, by a panel of life science executives, to become a strategic alliance partner across market access and medical communication services

  • Launched our company blog to help highlight various aspects of SAKS Health and share perspectives on aspects of the healthcare ecosystem

  • Continued to grow as a company not only in our opportunities with clients but in our team as well, adding full time team members across North America along with software developments teams in Europe and Asia

  • Selected as the preferred market access and medical communications affiliate for a global healthcare communications network

  • Certified by the New York and New Jersey Minority Supplier Development Council and invited to participate in several major Pharma diverse supplier rosters

  • Added more than half a dozen new clients, all in the specialty or rare disease space and all in launch mode, to our client roster

  • Redesigned our SAKS Health website with a more current look and feel


Products

2021 was another year of product development and implementation as our world of healthcare continues the journey of innovation to drive better patient outcomes.

  • Enhanced our SAKSiNTERACTiVE offering to include more engagement features and strategic applications

  • Added nurse practitioners and physician assistants to the SAKSiNTERATiVE platform outreach

  • Launched and enhanced SAKSeBUREAU (our customizable speakers bureau portal), allowing our growing client partners to customize and activate a platform for more effective thought leader engagements

  • Re-defined our Digital Transformation practice to effortlessly flow between our Medical Communications, Media, and Market Access practices

Culture

Our team members at SAKS Health are what help us strategically execute projects and new ideas. Fostering a culture that nurtures this is an everyday task but some of the broader yearly triumphs follow:

  • Our community and non-profit work was able to take off with our whole team fundraising and participating in the Boston Children's Hospital Virtual Walk this spring as well as our team helping a local NJ based organization redesign their website to improve exposure and engagement (re-branding launching Q1 2022)

  • Our team started a SAKS Health book club for all employees helping team building and providing useful resources for their day to day work

  • The first SAKS Health Fellowship Program came to a close, with our next program in the works and applicants under review

  • Created a robust learning and development program for SAKS Health new hires



While this is just a sampling of all the things our employees, clients, and partners have helped us achieve, we look forward to all that 2022 has to offer and the numerous ways we will be able to help enable Better Healthcare Tomorrow™ for our staff, our clients, HCPs and importantly, for the patients we all seek to serve.
